We are pleased to announce that we are returning to Alton Water on Sunday 14th July, 2019 for the third year running.

Our event is based at the beautiful and picturesque Alton Water Reservoir in Suffolk which is the centre and hub where family and friends can watch our varied Triathlon and Aquabike events unfold.

This year our Alton Water 2019 Event offers a Standard (also known as Olympic) and Sprint distance Triathlon with a new ‘Super Sprint’ Triathlon distance as well. Not only that, you also have the opportunity to enter an Aquabike event at either Standard or Sprint, this is for those athletes wanting to save those legs and take part in a swim/bike discipline only which seems to be gaining momentum with the Triathlon sporting calendar.

Competitors will begin with an Open Water Swim in the Alton Water Reservoir. You will either have a single or two looped swim, an out and back bike leg on the outskirts of Alton Water on our Suffolk winding Country roads, returning into transition, for those completing a triathlon, our runners will take off through the cross country tracks surrounding the water itself returning back to our finishing arch where spectators await.

We are in talks with Anglian Water at present and will be able to share with you the exact route being mapped out to incorporate a new parking/holding area similar to 2017 for competitors and spectators with specific course maps included, we will be able to give you further details on this very soon.

Please keep checking back for information and news which we will also publish on our facebook page. We aim to keep our website fresh with as much information about our event as possible.
