2021 Course Maps - Check back for any route changes nearer race day.

The Alton Water Triathlon offers a Standard distance Triathlon consisting of a 1500m swim, 40k cycle (2 laps for the swim and bike course below) and 10k, out and back run.

A Sprint Distance Triathlon with a 750m swim, 20k cycle, and a 5k run - apologies for the confusion on our BTF website showing an 800m swim, this is not the case! Single loop for the swim/bike and out and back run.

*New* addition to our Triathlon is our Super Sprint, 400m Swim, 20K Cycle and 3K run

To compliment our Triathlon event, this year we have also a Sprint and Standard Aquabike incorporating the swim and cycle disciplines for each distance, without having to complete the run which you may prefer due to injury perhaps.

We have retained the same fantastic bike loop as last year, once again taking cyclists up Wherstead Hill (which will be well signposted to warn cars and cyclists with necessary caution) with safety in mind, please remember this is not a closed road event and so extra care on this part of the course should be taken. The Standard/Olympic distance bike route comprises of two laps of the course shown below, the Sprint and Super Sprint event will take in one lap.
